Sketch Club Utah

After lunch, Sketch Club Utah identifies a person of interest, usually for their unique or distinct characteristics. The subject is briefly studied without drawing. Once back from lunch and back at the drawing board, the subject is drawn from memory. The Utah franchise was started because of the success of the two California franchises.

Imitation Kerry

This guy was interesting. He reminded us of John Kerry a lot. Anyways, here is my version.

Don’t remember what he was about to eat, just remembered that white tennis shoes weren’t typical hunting garb, unless you’re hunting in the snow.

First Sketchclub Lunch

We had our first Sketch Club lunch. It was a great turnout. 10 people went including me. Everyone should have their memory sketch up by next Thursday. We have decided to only go once a week on Thursdays. Unfortunately due to work we can only plan it about once a week. But with the great turnout we had and all the people that wished they had gone afterwards, we should have quite a group. Here is my first attempt at the memory sketch. We will keep posting and hopefully get some great artwork out. This group is all artists that currently work at Sensory Sweep (a video game company). Maybe eventually we will be able to involve other studios, but for now it is just us. Anyways, enjoy the artwork. There should be a lot more coming.
